Iraq's first ever representative to Miss Earth is Aure Arnulf after being chosen as Iraq's Maiden of Beauty at the 63rd Annual Miss Iraq pageant concluded in Nineveh- Iraq today March 17th.
This signals the re-entry of Iraq to beauty pageants to help change the country's image to the world. Arnulf who stands 170 cm. is from Baghdad who works in Public Relations.
There are 20 delegates who competed in the annual pageant. All the delegates competed in Swimsuits which was narrowed to ten semi finalists who then competed in evening gowns. The 10 semifinalist was further trimmed to six who have to answer questions from the judges. From these six, the winners were announced.
This is the 4th year that Talat Model Management produced the said pageant. The winners will have a unique opportunity to travel and to speak for women's rights.
